Appeals

We understand that circumstances may affect your ability to pay for college, and the information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) does not accurately reflect your current financial situation.

The FAFSA and CADAA reflect your financial picture from two years prior and only represent a "snapshot" of your situation as of the date your application was submitted.

If your or your family's financial situation has changed significantly from what is being reflected on your FAFSA or CADAA (for example, if you've lost a job or otherwise experienced a drop in income), or if there has been a change in your relationship with your parents, you may be eligible to have your financial aid eligibility reviewed.
