Net Price Calculator
We understand that college is one of the largest investments you will make, and it deserves careful consideration. Our goal is to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible by providing transparent information about your costs.
Use SSU's Net Price Calculator tool to view a personalized estimate of your cost to attend, based on your specific financial circumstances. The process takes less than five minutes and allows you to review estimated costs monthly, annually, or across your full academic career. Please contact us if you have any questions.
This calculator provides an estimate of:
- Your total cost to attend SSU for the 2025–2026 academic year
- Your financial aid eligibility
- Your net cost (what you may need to borrow or pay out of pocket)
It is available for both undergraduate and graduate students and will ask a few simple questions to generate your estimates.
Before you begin, please have:
- Your 2023 federal income tax return and W-2(s)
- If parent information is required, your parent(s)’ 2023 federal tax return(s) and W-2(s)
- Current asset amounts for you and your parent(s)
Please note that completing SSU’s Net Price Calculator is not an application for financial aid or scholarships. To apply for financial aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Scholarship applications for new and continuing students are available on SSU's Scholarships website.
The calculator provides an estimate only. Actual awards may differ based on final student or parent data and available funding.
