New and Continuing students may qualify for a 2023/24 Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) if you submitted your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) by March 2, 2023 and your income and assets are below the ceilings as determined by the California Student Aid Commission's (CSAC) website. MCS amounts are unknown at this time, further determination will be made in November.
You may receive an email from CSAC regarding your preliminary MCS award amount prior to being notified by SSU. We anticipate adding MCS to awards in November. MCS awards may be adjusted if your Cost of Attendance changes and/or grants/scholarships are adjusted.
